Maha Gathbandhan Seats Sharing Postponed in Bihar

In view of the Congress rally on February 3 in Patna, the announcement of the sharing of seats in the Maha coalition was postponed

2019 loksabha elections dates

Patna:  In Bihar, the constituent parties of the Maha gathbandhan had announced declaration of the number of seats after Makar Sankranti but now this matter has been postponed till the first week of February.

According to trustworthy sources, this is informally done by the Congress party in view of the rally in Patna on February 3. The Congress urges that at present all leaders are busy organizing this rally, so after 3 February, the number of names and seats will be announced for 2019 Loksabha Elections.

RJD sources say that in view of the arrangements of the big leaders of the party, it is imperative to abstain from the decision of coordination of seats. Although these sources say that there is no such thing about the number of seats in the RJD and Congress, due to which the negotiations are in jeopardy.

Although the Congress is expecting more seatsin 2019 Loksabha Elections but it also realizes this fact that due to the wishes of half the dozen constituents, at present, the number of seats according to the wishes of every constituent is out of the reach. This is the reason that more than the number of seats Congress is focusing on is that such seats should be taken where the chances of winning are high. Meanwhile Amit Shah started his 2019 Loksabha Election from Bengal rally. Amit Shah’s rally in Bengal was a successful event as claimed by party spokesperson.

In the meantime, Congress will invite Dashingh Yadav, the leader of the RJD, to participate in the Congress rally in the next few days. Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be present as the keynote speaker in this rally. After nearly two decades in Patna, Congress is organizing a rally in Gandhi Maidan.

Congress is facing a flak due to SP-BSP seats sharing formula for 2019 Loksabha Elections. The veteran party was given only 2 seats in Maha Gathbandhan in Uttar Pradesh. Congress has decided to contest from all the seats of Uttar Pradesh in 2019 Loksabha elections without the support of any party in the state.
